GREETINGS ABA MONDAY NIGHT PHONEMEETING FOLKS!

As many regular meeting attenders are aware, we are now a HOME GROUP and engaging in a series of HOME GROUP WORKSHOPS on the third Monday of the month to establish ourselves more viably.
Our first workshop a few weeks ago began the process of attending to the redefinition and filling or rotating of the many SERVICE POSITIONS that bind us together for the good of all members.

This Monday night, we have our monthly BUSINESS MEETING at which this clarification of service work will continue – in the lead-up to a second HOME GROUP WORKSHOP in a few weeks’ time dealing with this and other meeting flourishment items.
The BUSINESS MEETING will incorporate a minimum of the usual Business items (such as the monthly Treasurer’s Report) and focus primarily on examining job descriptions of service positions, filled and unfilled, put together by current position holders.
From there, this information will be distributed to everyone on the PHONELIST before the next WORKSHOP on MAY 18 -where people stepping up to help can make themselves available to be nominated and voted into positions they choose.
We are learning that being a HOME GROUP is simply about showing up, and SERVICE WORK - “our most powerful tool” – helps us get and keep sober collectively as well as individually.
SO EVERYONE INTERESTED IN ANY ASPECT OF SERVICE WORK IS HEARTILY WELCOME TO ATTEND THIS WEEK’S BUSINESS MEETING, 9.30 to 10pm EST.
